I graduated from the College for Creative Studies with a degree in Industrial Design. This is where I first fell in love with woodworking. If anyone was looking for me, they knew to check the wood shop first. After graduation, I worked in design before moving to Colorado, where I joined a cabinet shop as a draftsman, project manager, and estimator. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the custom cabinetry industry and the business behind bringing projects to life.
After returning to Michigan and meeting my wife Laura, I decided to start my own business. In 2006, I founded Gronzo Design and have never looked back.
Now, 20 years later — with two kids and countless projects completed — I still love what I do. I enjoy collaborating with homeowners and interior designers to create custom spaces that become part of a family’s everyday life.
I am truly blessed for the life I’ve lived and continue to live.
